Overview:
About the role:
Responsible for the review and processing of customer credit requests for an assigned customer portfolio. Engages in aggressive collection programs while maintaining positive customer relations. Responsible for compiling and analyzing financial information on new and existing customers to maximize sales and to limit the risk of bad debt loss.

What you'll be doing:
Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.
Ensure document compliance on construction pay applications to minimize delay in payment.
Monitor compliance with state lien and bond statutes.
Responsible for the review and process of customer requests for credit.
Engages in vigorous aggressive collection activities with customers through constant communication via telephone, email, fax or written correspondence.
Generates collections aging reports to analyze and determine which accounts to aggressively pursue collection activities.
Prepares accurate credit related reports for management.
Conducts analysis of customer financial information and credit history to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit.
Performs industry research and ratios; compares measures such as liquidity, profitability, credit history and cash with other companies of the same industry, size and geographic location; analyzes factors such as income growth, quality of management, market share, potential risks of industry and collateral appraisal.

Qualifications:
We're looking for:
Education: Bachelor's degree, Undergraduate Degree or Equivalent combination of years of equivalent experience. Field of Study Preferred: business, accounting or finance or equivalent experience. Required Work Experience: 3-5 Years Required Training/Certifications: Association of Credit and Collections Professionals Training/Courses preferred. Required Computer and Software Skills: Advanced computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Travel Requirements: Occasional travel to other company sites. Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
