Holcomb Is hiring Behavioral Health Technicians for our IBHS program in Exton, PA!

Holcomb Behavioral Health Systems is a leading mental/behavioral health agency seeking individuals looking to go further to help others go far. Maximize your potential by gaining paid experience as a Behavior Health Technician (BHT) within our Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) program. Working as a member of a comprehensive treatment team under the close guidance of a Master's level Behavior Consultant, BHTs provide one-to-one therapeutic interventions to an assigned child/adolescent and their family to reduce maladaptive behaviors in the home, school, and community.

A typical day of a BHT consists of working with 1-4 children/adolescents in various settings, such as schools, daycares, and/or homes. The duration of an average BHT session with one child/adolescent lasts between 2 to 3 hours. Common skills BHTs assist children/adolescents in developing include, but are not limited to: socialization, utilizing age-appropriate coping, following directives, and completing tasks.

This is a rewarding opportunity for those who love working with children or making a positive difference in someone's life. Additionally, this position provides great experience for those working towards a Bachelor's or Master's degrees in Psychology, Social Work, Education, and more. As a BHT under the guidance of Master's level supervisors, you will gain knowledge and skills you can take into all future endeavors, including: problem-solving skills, written and verbal communication skills, an array of behavioral management interventions, and record-keeping and data collection.

REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

Certification as BCBA, BCaBA, RBT, or BCAT.

OR

Minimum of High school diploma and 40 hours of training in ABA *Provided at New Employee Orientation*

OR

2 years' experience in the behavioral health field

Required Clearances: Pennsylvania Child Abuse clearance, Criminal clearance, and fingerprint based federal criminal history; Verification that employee is not on any Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion list

NOTE: At the discretion of the Personnel Officer, additional related experience and/or education may be substituted in lieu of the requirements specified under Education and Experience.

Holcomb offers a generous benefit package to all employees who work a minimum of 30 hours per week. Benefits are available the first day of a new month after completing 30 days of employment. Health insurance, including medical, dental, and vision are included. Paid holidays in addition to earned paid time off, 403(B) with company match, and 1 year salary of life insurance is available as well. Some benefits are available to employees working between 25-29 hours per week.
