Job Description: It is the responsibility of the Psychiatrist to conduct psychiatric evaluations, medication management services, clinical consultation, and supervision, as well as clinical client reviews in an outpatient setting.
Schedule Details: Part-Time; 12 hours bi-weekly
Location: Upper Darby, PA
Program: Mental Health Outpatient
Pay Rate: $175 /hour
Job duties:
- Implement clinical service delivery goals consistent with overall agency goals and policy/procedures
- Provide direct clinical service delivery as defined by the program description, and best practice standards, and in full compliance with licensure standards
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and document findings in an accurate and comprehensive manner
- Maintain professional relationships with clients, payers, and community support service representatives
- Conduct medication management sessions and prescribe medications according to best practices, including minimizing unnecessary medications or prescriptive patterns that could result in dependency
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation of medication management services
- Provide quality services based on established best practice principles of care
- Maintain quality documentation of clinical service delivery
- Assist with proposal development, when requested, for service enhancement or expansion in response to RFPs or other opportunities for growth
- Provide all authorized client services and provide supporting documentation for re-authorizations, as necessary, in a timely manner
- Submit accurate and timely payroll and billing documentation
- Provide direct clinical supervision to Nurse Practitioners and other clinical staff, as indicated. Provide clinical consultation for programs as needs dictate
Minimum Requirements:
Education: Medical degree (M.D. or D.O.) from a regionally accredited medical school or through a foreign school with approval through the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG).
Experience: One year of experience post-residency or must work under the supervision of another psychiatrist until the experience has been obtained.
Licensure/Certification: Licensed physician in the state(s) in which services are to be provided. Board Certification in Adult and/or Child/Adolescent Psychiatry or board eligible. Full DEA certification for prescribing Schedule II, III, IV, and V medications.
Clearances: Pennsylvania Act 33 & 34 clearance, Verification that employee is not on any Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion list
Note: At the discretion of the Personnel Officer, additional related experience and/or education may be substituted instead of the requirements specified under Education and Experience
Compensation Package: Chimes-Holcomb offers a generous benefits package to all employees who work a minimum of 30 hours per week. Benefits are available on the first day of a new month after completing 30 days of employment. Health insurance, including a flexible spending account, medical, dental, and vision are included. Paid holidays in addition to earned paid time off, 403(B) with company match, and 1-year salary of life insurance are available as well. Some benefits are available to employees working between 25-29 hours per week. Eligible employees can choose to participate in our transportation subsidy program, disability insurance, employee recognition programs, and referral bonuses.
