Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Director of Human Resources, providing administrative support and assisting in the day-to-day operations of the HR Department.
  • Provide excellent and prompt customer service to our internal and external customers.
  • Process I-9 verifications & maintain I-9 compliance.
  • Manage HRIS system (ADP Workforce Now) by updating data, running reports, etc.
  • Welcome new hires and guide them through the onboarding process in ADP and training programs.
  • Set up and assist in conducting monthly New Hire Orientation meetings.
  • Track and ensure completion of employee training and other programs using spreadsheets and databases.
  • Compile data and generate reports in various software applications.
  • Reconcile billing statements from vendors.
  • Maintain a safe working environment. Participate on the Safety Committee and assist Committee Chairperson. Familiarity with OSHA regulations is a plus.
  • Assist with benefit enrollment (medical/dental, Trimet HOP passes, Oregon Saves, etc.).
  • Assist with recruiting, posting, and managing open positions.
  • Comply with all policies and procedures set forth in the Employee Handbook.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 1 year of administrative experience
  • 1 year of Human Resources (preferred)
  • Proficient with databases and Microsoft Office Applications
  • Experience in the Hospitality industry (preferred)
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now (preferred)
  • Experience with IHG Merlin (preferred)
  • Ability to speak Spanish is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
