What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping Attendant position at Holiday Inn Express and Suites?
We are hiring for Housekeeping Position:
Job requirements:
- Cleaning and servicing assigned guest rooms in a timely and organized manner, following procedures and hotel standards.
- Keeping an organized linen cart that is neat, well stocked and organized.
- Report any areas within guest rooms that need attention, such as fixtures, door locks, televisions, HVAC, etc.
- Maintaining security of your equipment, key and supplies issued to you.
- Reporting lost and found articles to your supervisor.
- Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds / 23 kilograms
- Being passionate about people and service
- Previous Housekeeping experience is a plus.
- Reading and writing abilities are used often when completing paperwork.
- Problem-solving, reasoning, motivating and training abilities are often used
- Have the ability to work a flexible schedule including, weekends and/or holidays
- Previous hotel Experience is plus
- Marriott experience is a plus
