Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning, laundering, and maintaining linens and clothing items, particularly in a hotel setting.
Responsibilities:
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, iron, and package laundry items
- Handle delicate fabrics with care and follow specific instructions for different items
- Operate washing and drying machines efficiently
- Inspect and identify stained or damaged items for appropriate treatment
- Keep laundry area clean and organized
- Assist with inventory management of linens and supplies
Requirements:
- Experience in cleaning, laundering, or dry cleaning preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail to ensure quality standards are met
- Good physical health to handle standing, bending, and lifting throughout the shift
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members effectively
