Houseperson/ Maintenance Helper

This position is responsible for maintaining the appearance of the interior and exterior of the hotel and assisting with general maintenance duties. The position is available immediately. Flexible schedule and open availability are necessary.

Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

Cleaning of building, grounds, and parking lot

Testing and Maintenance of Pool Chemicals

Clean/maintain Pool, Spa, and Pool area According to Hotel Standards

Maintain cleanliness of pool area

Empty and Clean Garbage Cans

Use Common Tools/make simple repairs as assigned
Follow all policies & procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook
Follow all safety policies and procedures as instructedMust be in a neat, clean uniform with nametag and CP tag
Move furniture/assist housekeeping
Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Maintain a professional attitude to all Guests, associates, and vendors

REQUIRED SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehend emergency and security information including labels and directions. Ability to identify problems and communicate them to the supervisor. Basic math skills.Hospitable with the public, positive attitude, self supervising.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to move from guest room to guest room with exposure to the extremes of the climate of the location.

NECK – Bending and twisting on occasion

AUDITORY - Ability to read and comprehend emergency and security information including labels and directions. Ability to communicate emergency situations to supervisor in English. Normal conversation.

HEARING - Ability to hear emergency alarms, telephone, conversation.

VISION - Legal normal vision with or without accommodation.

ARMS - Reaching, bending arms, medium carrying pushing, pulling.

HANDS - Finger dexterity, grasping

TRUNK - Bending and twisting

to communicate emergency situations to supervisor in English.
