Event Services Manager

Overview: Holiday Inn Resort is seeking a dynamic Events Services Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and executing a wide range of events, ensuring seamless experiences for guests. This role demands strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. Key Responsibilities:

1. Plan and oversee various events, including weddings, conferences, meetings, and social gatherings, ensuring they align with client expectations and hotel standards.

2. Collaborate with clients to understand their event requirements and preferences, providing tailored solutions to meet their needs.

3. Manage event budgets and secure necessary resources to execute events successfully.

4. Coordinate with various departments within the resort, such as front desk, banquets, catering and housekeeping , to ensure smooth event operations.

5. Supervise event staff, including banquet servers and support personnel, to guarantee exceptional service delivery.

6. Conduct site inspections for potential clients, showcasing the resort's event facilities and amenities.

7. Stay updated on industry trends, maintaining a competitive edge in event services offered by the resort.

8. Address and resolve any issues or concerns during events, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

9. Implement and adhere to health and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for both guests and staff.

10. Evaluate the success of each event through feedback and performance metrics, making recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

1. Experience in events within the hospitality industry.

2. Strong organizational and multitasking skills with meticulous attention to detail.

3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

4. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to accommodate event schedules.

5. Knowledge of local regulations and permits related to events is a plus.
