The San Diego R&D Engineering team develops and supports medical diagnostic instrumentation.
In this internship, you will support the instrument development team to design, test, and qualify complex medical diagnostic instrumentation systems.
We're looking for bright, inquisitive problem solvers who strive to make a difference. Key
qualifications include the following:
- Able to work full-time over the summer months (May-August)
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program and have at least one semester remaining to complete after internship
- Prefer to hire a rising senior
- Majoring in Mechanical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering
- Preferred cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience or exposure to working with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work onsite at our San Diego, CA campus. Intern housing, relocation, and housing stipends are not provided.
- Proficient with CAD software (Solidworks or ProE/Creo)
