Job Summary:
The Business Systems Analyst II is responsible for the support, enhancement, and maintenance of finance, information technology, and operational applications. This position additionally participates in the evaluation of processes, projects, and initiatives in support of the company’s strategic goals and objectives and is an emerging subject matter expert in all supported applications.
Essential Functions:

Delivers targeted results within determined time frames and achieves overall customer
satisfaction - Monitors, analyzes, automates, and improves current processes and procedures to facilitate the use and development of technology for Finance, Support, and Operational departments in line with enterprise growth and needs
- Manages relationships and integrates with operational and other support departments as well as third party customers and vendors (i.e. auditors, bankers, etc.) to achieve departmental goals and objectives
- Designs and consults on current, emerging or changing technologies to achieve efficiencies and increase productivity
- Provides data analytic and conceptual skills to support initiatives and projects for all key stakeholders
- Sound business applications knowledge (including Financials, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Procurement, Inventory, and Integration Logic)
Remains up-to-date and current on developing business trends as they pertain to finance, business systems, processes, and enterprise goals, objectives, and directions.
Collaborate and consult with all areas of the enterprise to develop and improve existing business systems
Trains develops and collaborates with internal customers and Finance/IT staff on utilization of newly developed procedures/tools to ensure consistent application and understanding
- Ability to develop extensive documentation to support business systems and applications for the enterprise
- Requires regular and punctual employee attendance
- Works safely at all times and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Sound knowledge of CAT products and the Heavy Equipment Industry
- Knowledge of current system and data analytics
- Sound knowledge of DBS, Coda, Clarity, Sage100, and other applications

Accounting knowledge, with an understanding of invoices, statements of account
receivables, payables, and various forms of payment remittances - Knowledge of sales techniques, financial, credit, and accounting principles

Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products – Excel, Word, Outlook and
PowerPoint -
Good judgment related to complex skills using common sense and other learned
principles -
Exceptional organizational, time management, multi-tasking, and project management

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, computer science, finance, or related field required or comparable experience equivalent
- Minimum five years of experience required, seven years of experience preferred
- Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Financial Application Experience preferred
