HOLT CAT is synonymous with quality, integrity, and commitment to customer service, and we invite you to join our team as an IT Change Management Specialist, responsible for analyzing, designing, planning, and driving the execution of change management activities in support of complex, enterprise-wide impacting efforts. The role will educate and act as an advocate for change management throughout the organization, with constant interaction with leadership, key business stakeholders, and end users. The incumbent will partner with training and communications to ensure organizational readiness and strives for high levels of change adoption while mitigating risk & resistance.

The incumbent in this position is expected to model the following practices daily: 1) Demonstrate alignment with the company's mission and core business values; 2) Collaborate with key internal/external resources; 3) Participate in ongoing self-development.

Essential Functions:

  • Define and implement the Change Management processes for enterprise-impacting projects & programs, and influence how the company leverages change management across IT.
  • Complete Change Management assessments, provide recommended approaches and create/implement tactical Change Management plans
  • Create actionable deliverables for defining and owning the Change Management process
  • Define standard Change Management milestones, and integrate Change Management activities into program/project plans
  • Evaluate and ensure user readiness during tactical implementations and enterprise-impacting programs
  • Identify, analyze, prepare, and implement Change Management risk mitigation tactics
  • Identify and manage anticipated resistance
  • Collaborate and be an effective project/program team member
  • Support and engage organizational leaders & key stakeholders, coach managers and supervisors on Change Management principles & objectives
  • Coordinate efforts with other specialists including training and communications
  • Track and report issues related to change management
  • Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress
  • Support Change Management at the organizational level
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Demonstrates knowledge of HOLT’s business objective to prioritize work efforts and develop solutions
  • Demonstrates a solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process
  • Demonstrates experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools
  • Demonstrated and extensive experience with large-scale organizational change efforts
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics
  • Ability to demonstrate problem-solving and root cause identification skills
  • Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others
  • Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges
  • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle, especially as it relates to Change Management activities

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of five years’ experience of related experience required; eight years preferred
  • PROSCII, CCMP, or other industry standard Change Management certification preferred

Travel:

  • Up to 10% and overnight travel may be expected
  • Valid driver’s license
