Full-time position; biweekly schedule; 1st Shift 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Basic Job Description/Responsibilities for RN Manager
- The primary duty of the RN Manager is the management, supervision and coordination of all nursing functions of assigned shift incorporating the nursing process, which includes assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation into each resident's plan of care. The RN Manager ICF-IID provides leadership and management regarding ICF-IID operations, serving as the administrative manager to resolve and/or alert the administrator-on-call of any unusual issues that develop within assigned areas. The RN Manager ICF-IID is responsible for the coordination of care within the Fisher Health Care Center for the assigned residents.
Required Job Skills/Experience:
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing required. Current RN licensure in North Carolina. BSN Degree required. Previous management experience preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Provider from AHA required. Appropriate professional certification (either clinical or leadership) is required within 1 year of eligibility for professional certification exam. Additional education, training, certifications, or experience may be required within the department by the nurse leader. Nursing experience with individuals with Intellectual Developmental Disabilities and/or acute care.
