Description:
Serves as the senior UR Coordinator by providing process oversight and education toward new staff orientation, and staff competency development for the UR Coordinators.
To support the Holy Cross Health goal of preventing medical necessity write offs through clear and timely communication with third party payers of appropriate utilization; to coordinate with the Physician Advisor, other members of the Documentation Quality & Care Transitions and Care Management colleagues to support and evaluate utilization review activities and to facilitate Medicare compliance activities related to inpatient utilization regulations and Patient Privacy.
