Ultrasound Supervisor

Description:

• Full Time - Day Shift
• Location - Silver Spring

Responsibilities:

• Coordinates patient flow for specific area.
• Assures general supervision and daily scheduling of employees. Oversight includes the daily scheduling, evaluation and documentation of all diagnostic technologists and the monthly maintenance of both manpower and supply budgets.
• Maintains, documents and reviews quality control on equipment.
• Provides patient care and performs quality procedures.
• Must demonstrate the capability of maintaining effective communication between front desk, relevant departments and Director /Assistant Director.
• Coordinates all in-patient, outpatient and emergency patient flow.
• Coordination includes ability to organize daily scheduling plan to include all patients.

What you will need:

• AMA/RDMS ultrasonography program.
• Certification/Registration with ARDMS as well as certified in RVT.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Two (2) years experience in a similar medical imaging supervisory role.
• Three (3) years experience in specialty area as an Ultrasound Technologist in a hospital.
• Demonstrated leadership ability, human relations and organizational skills.
• Must be able to perform procedures on newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatric. patients.
