What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Informaticist, LifeCare position at Holy Redeemer?
This position supports Lifecare Leadership in all aspects of the information technology strategic planning process for the Division. This position takes a leadership role in redesigning workflow as part of technology implementations and enhancements. Specifically the role is responsible for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of all informatics and technology initiatives, including the design and implementation of all documentation forms, implementation of new functionality, management of end user relationships, training and feedback, installation of new applications supporting clinical practice and the management of all related informatics processes in accordance with patient safety initiatives, evidence based practice, ISO and other regulatory and governmental requirements. This position also is responsible for the development and communication of metrics associated with informatics initiatives. The position requires willingness and ability to provide ongoing education for users and super users of applicable systems. This position works closely with and maintains a supplemental reporting relationship to the Chief Medical Information Officer.
Recruitment Requirements:
Bachelor degree required in healthcare field.
Masters Degree in health related field or Informatics , preferred.
Demonstrates expertise in informatics and extensive knowledge of LTC industry , including MDS.
