What are the responsibilities and job description for the Identity and Access Management Specialist- 40 Hours position at Holyoke Medical Center?
This position will be responsible for creating, terminating, auditing, and maintaining user access to the many systems used by hospital staff. They will work closely with our Information Security Officer to ensure that HIPPA compliance and security best practices are being followed. And will work with our System Administration and Clinical Analyst teams to ensure that users are given the access they need to succeed in their rolls. A successful candidate will also seek to give feedback and guidance on how to improve and automate the process to reduce errors and expedite requests.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Associates Degree in Computer Sciences, Bachelors preferred
- 2 years of experience in an Identity and Access Control Role.
- Hands on Experience with user account creation in an enterprise Microsoft Active Directory environment
- Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively
- Attention to detail and a security focused mindset
- Experience Creating or auditing and improving Access Creation workflows
- Experience supporting various compliance or regulatory requirements such as HIPPA or ISO
- Excellent understanding of Identity and Access Control Enterprise Software approaches
- Proven ability to develop effective partnerships with management and peers
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, resourceful, responsive with strong follow through.
- The ability to articulate in a non-technical manner if needed depending on the audience.
- Experience Auditing user activity and existing access
