Personal Care Assistant

We are now hiring for dedicated, compassionate, reliable and experienced Certified Nursing Assistants and Personal Care Assistants. If you are compassionate, love helping others, and enjoy making a difference, then this is the job for you!

Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance to individuals in need
- Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, including cleaning and organizing living spaces
- Help with mobility and transfers, using proper techniques and equipment
- Follow care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals

Experience:
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of social work principles and practices is a plus
- Familiarity with meal preparation and nutrition guidelines is beneficial
- Experience in providing care for individuals with dementia or memory impairments is desirable
- Understanding of assisted living and memory care systems is a bonus

Qualifications:
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Strong attention to detail and observation skills
- Physical stamina to perform required tasks, including lifting and assisting with transfers
- Reliable transportation to travel to clients' homes or facilities

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.50 - $15.75 per hour
