What are the responsibilities and job description for the Live-In Caregivers needed position at Home Care Assistance?
Home Care Assistance is looking for caring caregivers to work with live-In clients. Previous experience as a live-in caregiver is required.
A live-in caregiver is one who stays 24 hours in a home for multiple days at a time, not returning to their own home for multiple days or weeks or sometimes months at a time. Caregiver must have somewhere to go if client goes into the hospital. They cannot stay at client's home.
Caregiver must have a car to drive client.
Clients are located in the Montgomery, Bucks, Philadelphia and Delaware County areas.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily tasks needed, bathing, dressing, toileting as needed
- Ability to bed bath client while in bed if necessary
- Provide transfers and stand by assistance when walking
- Meal Preparation and Medication Reminders
- Work one-on-one with the client to enhance the quality of life
- Light Housekeeping

We are looking to hire the best caregivers who have:
- Past caregiving experience
- Passionate about caregiving
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license and car insurance
- Ability to pass a background check
- Current 2 step PPD, Quantiferon Blood work or Chest X-ray as required by pa dept of health
- References from past employers or supervisors
