Special Needs Caregiver/Direct Support Professional (DSP)

We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Caregivers to provide one-on-one excellent care and support for children, teens and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities such as Autism.
Responsibilities:
· Assist Clients with daily living activities
· Provide care and supervision. Report to supervisor of updates
· Collaborate with clients and families for best care opportunities
· Maintain a healthy and comfortable living environment
· Maintain safety for the client and family members
· Supervise and control the client’s actions all the time
· Medication Reminders
· Respite Care
Qualifications:
· Previous experience in working with autistic individuals is required
· Compassionate and caring demeanor
· Ability to build rapport with clients
· First Aid/CPR training (Preferred)
· CPI/DSP 1,2 (Required)
· Be in a Good Physical Condition
· Valid Driver License and Reliable transportation
Requirements:
Must have HCA registration with the DSS, and also past CNA license, and 3 years’ experience in a skilled nursing facility, assisted living facility, or hospital or rehabilitation facility.
· Must be at least 18 years of age
· Must have legal authorization to work in the US
· Complete a Criminal Background Check (clearance from FBI and DOJ)
· Home Care Aide Registration
· TB clearance and Health Screening
· Covid-19 full vaccination and booster dose
· We provide online paid training (including CPI training)
· Must be able to work weekdays and/or Saturdays and Sundays
Job type: Full-Time, Part-Time
Pay: starting $18.00

· Flexible scheduling – various shifts (morning, afternoon, night) ranging from 6 to 8 hours per day.
