A prominent home healthcare agency’s branch office in Hicksville, Long Island, New York, is seeking a bilingual Healthcare Customer Service Representative, proficient in Spanish and English, to join our dynamic team. This position involves local travel to various community locations for outreach activities. Knowledge of Chinese is a valuable asset but not mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time or Part-time

Pay: $23 to $27 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary liaison between the community, our organization, and healthcare providers, including local travel to various community locations.
• Organize and participate in community outreach events to promote health education and services.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local community groups and healthcare professionals.
• Coordinate the distribution of materials and information sessions in multiple languages.
• Manage inquiries and provide detailed information about health programs and services.
• Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain accurate records of outreach activities.
• Assist in the preparation and management of grant applications and reports.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Spanish and English is required; ability to communicate in Chinese is a plus.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in community services or healthcare-related fields.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient with computer and database systems.
