Home Care Lead CNA / Team Development - approx 11am-7pm

You will be responsible for the hiring and training process. The schedule for this position is approximately 11am-7pm M-F with every other weekend on call. Occasional shifts as late as 10 pm may be required.

Responsibilities:

• Creating and Monitoring job posts
• Interviewing potential caregivers
• Tracking document completion for employees
• Scheduling training
• Assisting with training at the office and in clients homes
• Introducing new caregivers to clients
• Filling in as a caregiver if needed (about 5-15 hours per week)
• Answering phone calls
• Assisting with other in office projects as requested when time allows for it
• Cover shifts every other weekend if on-call phone staff is not able to find anyone else (typically 4-8 hours per month)

• Physical ability to complete the job (rolling someone over in bed, assisting with balance as standing, etc.)

Requirements:

• Current CNA license (or able to start course immediately)
• 2 years caregiving experience preferred, ok with just 1 year
• At least 18 years old
• Have a driver's license and reliable vehicle
• Pass a background check and drug test
• Able to work independently
• Reliable attendance record
