Service Coordinator Job- Home Instead® (Meadville, PA)

Home Instead (Meadville, PA) is looking for caring and compassionate Service Coordinator (Scheduler) to add to our growing office staff and to become a part of our team, joining our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community.

Home Instead provides a variety of non-medical services across Crawford and Venango Counties that allow older adults to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care, and compassion.

The Service Coordinator is expected to perform a variety of duties in the coordination of scheduling service for clients.

The Service Coordinator is responsible for scheduling clients and Care Professionals (Care Pros) in order to provide the highest service to clients with emphasis on creating extraordinary relationships.

• Coordinating and maintaining client schedules
• Entering and maintaining accurate client and Care Pro records in the Software Scheduling System
• Monitoring, mediating, and logging all client and Care Pro activity utilizing the Software Scheduling System
• Calling family members, clients, caregivers with schedule changes.
• Following up and communicating with Care Professional and clients
• Creating and maintaining client and Care Pro schedules with an emphasis on creating high quality matches

Qualifications :

Able to communicate with clients, Care Pros, and Office Staff, work in a fast-paced environment and multitask. Must be a team player, be able to think outside of the box, and thrive in an ever evolving and fast paced environment.

• Advanced computer skills required
• Must be proficient in Excel and Word
• One year of related business experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered
• Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to listen effectively
• Must have the ability to organize and prioritize daily, quarterly, monthly, and yearly goals and metrics
• Must demonstrate professionalism in the workplace, as well as effective interpersonal skills. This includes sound judgment and good decision making skills
• Must demonstrate discretion, integrity, and fair mindedness consistent with company standards, practices, policies, and procedures
