A Day in the Life:
As a Clinical IT Support Specialist, you will use all aspects of the Home of the Innocents’ clinical and office software and participate in its installation and configuration. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Electronic Medical Records in a clinical setting. You will also provide ongoing training, troubleshooting, configuration assistance, and end user support related to the software applications.

As a Clinical IT Support Specialist, you will use all aspects of the Home of the Innocents’ clinical and office software and participate in its installation and configuration. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Electronic Medical Records in a clinical setting. You will also provide ongoing training, troubleshooting, configuration assistance, and end user support related to the software applications.
Clinical IT Support Specialist Responsibilities:
- Stay current on product updates and industry trends related to Electronic Medical Record Systems
- Provide technical support to users experiencing software issues via phone, email, or ticketing system, in a timely manner
- Collaborate with internal teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues
- Assist with software implementations, including user training and system configuration
- Strong understanding of healthcare compliance regulations, including HIPAA, and ability to ensure software compliance with these regulations
- Contribute to the development of support documentation and training materials
- Associate degree
- Clinical or healthcare background required
- Must have a working knowledge of windows-based desktop operating systems (Windows 10 and above)
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) required
- Working knowledge of networked computer environment
- Experience in developing and providing training and support in a technology related project
