JOB SUMMARY AND OBJECTIVE

Manage Voice and Network Facilities departments ensuring that all installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting are performed as required.  Assist in planning and implementation of new jobs including equipment installation, equipment migrations, software upgrades, and new product deployments.  Oversee disaster recovery planning and support (storms, hurricanes, and any other disasters).  Manage all power infrastructure at each of our facilities including generator and power back up at remote offices and cabinets.

The role involves having delivery management responsibilities for a team of resources who are responsible for production support across the voice/development space and power distribution areas.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Local and delivery management responsibilities.  The position is not remote.
• Work and partner closing with Senior SMEs, Product Owners, Project Managers, Senior leadership, and Engineering teams to deliver standardized solutions to multiple stakeholders in a timely manner and ensure minimal impact on business activity.
• Team resource capacity management – ensure that demand is matched with resources to execute given activities within budget.
• Work and partner closely with Vendors to deliver and support a high-quality voice product. 
• Identify, develop, and implement automation and efficiencies that reduce manual processes, increase client self-service, and turn target functions into automated, routine tasks.
• Provide oversight for our rectifier and power distribution equipment.
• This role is a mentor and coaching manager.  This voice and facilities manager would be accountable for multiple activities, such as employee hiring, development, performance management, recognition, and succession planning.
• Manage day-to-day activities of the 2 departments; serve as backup as needed.
• Monitor network capacity and performance, providing weekly status reports.
• Project management of new network initiatives.
• Management training needs within the departments.
• Manage work orders for capital additions and removals.
• Investigate new and emerging technologies for possible deployment.
• Other duties as directed.

EDUCATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or GED with two (2) year College Degree
• Ten (10) years experience with a two (2) year college degree, or fifteen (15) years experience with a diploma or GED.
• Extensive knowledge of Metaswitch platform; Call Processing and Routing; Class 5 Features; ACD, LERG; Switching Provisioning and Translations; Central office power and cooling needs, physical facilities monitoring.

Salary : $74,794 - $93,493
