@Home Therapy is dedicated to providing top-tier physical therapy assistant (PTA) and occupational therapy assistant (OTA) services to older adults in the comfort of their homes. We are currently seeking skilled and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) to join our team as independent contractors.

Qualifications

  • Valid OTA License and Registration in New York.
  • Experience in adult rehabilitation.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Familiarity with EMR software (preferred).
  • Homecare experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively with office staff regarding patient updates.
  • Schedule and manage patient visits independently.
  • Conduct follow-up visits per the plan of care and the patient's progress.
  • Document all visits using web-based EMR, ensuring compliance with Medicare guidelines.
  • Maintain active credentials and adhere to HIPAA and company compliance standards.
