What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Laundry Attendant position at Home2Suites?
11 - 12 hourly
Responsibilities:- Check that all cleaning supplies are stocked and notify the general manager if any are running low
- Inspect all linens to identify stains and remove stains with appropriate cleaning products and techniques
- Monitor all laundry equipment and notify the facilities manager of any maintenance requirements
- Load all laundry into the washer and add specified cleaning agents according to directions
- Take out the clothes and linens after washing and dry them following the manufacturer's recommendations
- Hard worker with strong time management, organizational, and communication skills
- 1 years as a laundry attendant, housekeeper or similar position
- Good understanding of commercial cleaning techniques and products
- Graduated high school, received GED or equivalent
- We require the ability to consistently lift 20 or more pounds
