REPORTS TO: Purchasing Manager
OBJECTIVE
Generate job start budgets and create purchase orders. Provide exceptional customer service to field team, trades, and other internal departments.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary contact for field team and trades for all jobs in assigned communities.
Generate address specific job start budgets and create purchase orders in the BRIX system, for all jobs in assigned communities.
Enter accurate, address specific budget changes based on lot variables and/or conditions.
Process price updates, vendor changes, change orders, and/or late changes for all jobs in assigned communities.
Research and respond to inquiries from field team, trades, and other internal departments in a timely manner.
Assist accountings in researching invoices when necessary.
Work closely with other purchasing coordinators and agents to share workload and fill in when necessary.
Support Purchasing Manager and VP of Purchasing
Additional tasks as assigned by Management
QUALIFICATIONS
Residential Homebuilding experience highly preferred
Hyphen solutions (Brix/Buildpro) experience preferred
Computer skill with ability to work with Outlook, Word, Excel
Consistent attention to detail and accuracy required
Ability to effectively prioritize and perform multiple tasks, while meeting simultaneous deadlines
Strong organization, documentation, research, and analytical skills
Ability to work both as a part of a team and independently
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
