JOB DESCRIPTION
Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) : Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
Medication Reminders : Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management as needed, following client-specific care plans and instructions.
Meal Preparation : Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks according to clients’ dietary preferences and restrictions, ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are met.
Housekeeping : Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry, sweeping, mopping, and tidying up living spaces, to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
Companionship : Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging them in conversation, recreational activities, and cultural interests to promote socialization and mental stimulation.
Communication : Communicate effectively with clients and their families in both English and Spanish to ensure clear understanding of care needs, preferences, and instructions.
Documentation : Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided, including daily activity logs, medication administration records, and any changes or observations in clients’ health or behavior.
