As a Part-Time Occupational Therapist for Homeland HomeHealth, you would contribute to our community of caring by providing direct rehabilitative occupational therapy to patients where they feel most comfortable, promoting and fostering their healing process.
Homeland HomeHealth is a fast-growing provider of in-home healthcare that offers convenient and effective skilled nursing care in the comfort of our patient’s own home. Using compassion and skill, our staff provides physician-ordered medical treatment to promote healing, independence, and the best possible quality of life. We believe in a multiple-disciplined approach to help patients in their healing journey, which includes wound care, cardiac care, palliative care, fall prevention, rehabilitation services, intravenous therapy, and other care services.
- This is a part-time opening for 15-20 hours per week, with availability Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, with the potential to grow into a full-time position.
- This position requires a valid Pennsylvania Occupational Therapist license, a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license, and reliable internet access.
As a Homeland HomeHealth Occupational Therapist, you would be eligible for:
- Competitive Pay Rates, with portal-to-portal mileage paid at $0.54/mile.

As Homeland HomeHealth’s Occupational Therapist, according to prescribed policies and procedures of the organization including all applicable state, federal and accreditation regulations and under the general supervision of the Assistant Director of HomeHealth, the Occupational Therapist (OT) evaluates and provides treatment to HomeHealth patients who are referred by the physician for treatment of physical and psychosocial dysfunction. The OT must have knowledge and understanding of a patient’s illness or injury and the ability to assess these needs and plan appropriate interventions. The role of the OT is to work as part of an interdisciplinary team to assist the patient in achieving his/her optimum goals.
Requirements include:
Education and Experience:
- Graduate of an occupational therapy curriculum accredited jointly by the committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association.
- Minimum of two (2) years clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist.
- Must demonstrate the ability to be able to work within a multidisciplinary team setting.
Licensure, Registration, and Certification:
- Must possess current license as an Occupational Therapist from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania or made application for same.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation that is insured in accordance with Pennsylvania state requirements.
- Satisfactory criminal background checks.
- Satisfactory references from employers and/ or professional peers.
- Maintains current CPR certification
- Access to reliable internet access outside of the workplace setting.
