As a Program Specialist, you will:
- Contributes to maintaining quality services by conducting reviews of client documentation, medication checks/error review, and conducting audits.
- Conducts random program visits to observe client service delivery. Evaluates working conditions, addressing any concerns and questions from staff at the time of the visit.
- Provides ongoing staff training, including vehicle and passenger safety, menu planning, fire alarm use, client cares, client funds and belongings, and other operational functions.
- Assists with shopping for assigned programs, ensuring all programs have appropriate supplies on hand.
- Completes all applicable documentation related to tasks assigned.
Our roles are competitively compensated with a starting wage of $12.00 /hour. Paid out bi-weekly, with the ability to have access to up to 50% of your earnings through PayActiv.

To be considered for this job, you must meet the following requirements:
- Supervision of others is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated skill and/or potential in working with individuals with special needs in a supportive environment.
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain self-composure and self-control under stressful conditions.
- Ability to remain comfortable and composed when clients may exhibit aggressive, challenging, or offensive behaviors.
- A valid driver’s license for 3 years with an acceptable driving record per HIL’s policy is strongly required.
- Access to an insured vehicle is strongly preferred.
- Successful completion of caregiver background checks as mandated by Wisconsin Chapter DHS 12.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment TB test and health screen.
