Maintenance Technician

Title:                            Maintenance Technician

Status:                        Full time, nonexempt (hourly)

Shift:                           7:00am to 3:30pm Monday – Friday (weekend rotation)

Qualifications:      

• General maintenance experience, 2 years preferred.
• Skilled maintenance experience, preferred.
• General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, heating, and air conditioning systems
• Experience troubleshooting equipment and HVAC systems.
• Valid Pa driver’s license, required.

Reports to:        Maintenance Manager

Responsibilities (the following is an overview of the responsibilities of the position and should not be considered to be all inclusive):

1. Able to utilize power tools, mechanical tools, gauges and meters to perform assigned duties.
2. Complete assigned work orders with limited supervision.
3. Interact with web-based maintenance management system to maintain daily log of maintenance and security tasks performed.
4. Participate in snow removal procedures.
5. Complete daily preventative work orders as assigned.
6. Work overtime, as needed to meet the demands of the department.
7. Drive Homestead Village equipment such as pick-up trucks, tractors and other facility-owned vehicles as needed.
8. Assist in setups and tear downs during scheduled events.
