Job Summary
The Quality Assurance Analyst I collaborates within the IT organization and provides support to business units. The candidate will help create, maintain, and enhance the Test Automation Framework following latest industry best practices. The candidate is expected to execute and manage test plans to schedule to meet internal goals and will actively participate in requirements discovery and review sessions to ensure full understanding and consequently optimize implementation timelines.

Key Responsibilities / Essential Functions

  • Helps develop, document, and maintain functional test scripts, test data, and automation scripts.
  • Helps facilitate test plan/case/script reviews with cross-functional team members.
  • Creates and maintains project dashboards/status reports for transparency.
  • Participates in requirements discovery and review sessions to ensure full understanding and consequently optimize implementation timelines.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information.

Job Requirements
Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Required:

  • 1 years of experience as a development tester.
  • Familiarity with Object Oriented programming paradigm, different scripting languages (i.e. Java Script, Groovy, Python, others), as well as proprietary and open source test automation tools and webservices.
  • Knowledge of latest architectures, protocols, standards, and guidelines for Test Automation Frameworks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
  • Good understanding of coding practices with good quality standards relative to readability, reusability, and cost-effective maintainability.
  • Acute attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks while still meeting deadlines.
  • Self-motivated and proactive – anticipates issues and opportunities and takes initiative to address them without direction.
  • Positive, helpful, and collaborative team player.
