Homewatch Caregivers® is a non-medical, in-home care agency. We provide unique care to adults of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities in the comfort and safety of their preferred residence. We are currently seeking a compassionate, patient, and energetic individual to provide support to one of our intellectually disabled clients. This client is an older male and is located in the Langhorne, PA area.
He is an active gentleman, who enjoys going on community outings and playing games. As someone with an intellectual disability, this client struggles to express his emotions and can become agitated because of this. An empathetic, patient individual with an open mind and strong communication skills would be an ideal fit for this client. This particular client does not require any personal care, just supervision and assistance as needed.
PT POSITION 15-20 HOURS A WEEK
- Supervise and assist client in preparing meals and ensuring proper nutrition.
- Accompany client on community outings, appointments, and social engagements.
- Interact and engage with client through conversation, games, and emotional support.
- Make appropriate accommodations to promote autonomy and increase independence.
