THE POSITION : The

Content Marketing Specialist

reports to the Corporate Communications Manager and is responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring our consumer-facing social media channels to increase engagement and brand awareness and improve marketing efforts.

This role will support internal and external communications, marketing campaigns and initiatives for a variety of audiences, including corporate employees, franchise owners and staff, caregivers and consumers.

The ideal candidate must be a collaborative individual who seamlessly supports the Marketing team across a range of task-oriented administrative, operational, and foundational functions.

This role will assist with the implementation of communications, creative services, and digital marketing projects and initiatives.

In doing so, the individual will frequently engage with the corporate team, franchise system as well as external brand partners.

Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential. Additionally, the candidate should excel as an impactful ideator who works well with a team to bring ideas to fruition, seeing what needs to be done and taking the initiative to get it done.

Someone who gets excited by new challenges and growth opportunities and is also self-motivated to prioritize and execute tasks to completion is what we are looking for.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : Strategizes, develops and schedules social media content and campaigns. Monitors and reports on analytics.

Optimizes and makes recommendations for continued improvementsHelps monitor our CoMarketing platform and social media management tool, helping optimize performance and troubleshoot or escalate issues as neededRegularly monitors the digital online presence of the franchise system and escalates issues as needed to help ensure brand consistency, i.

e., social media, brand asset use, website issues, reviews and moreCollaborates with the Corporate Communications Manager to help develop content for blogs, web pages, emails and other assets as assigned all with SEO in mindOversees the strategy, development and deployment of monthly newslettersProvides support for PR efforts as neededAssists internal teams with eMarketing communication initiatives for a wide variety of audiences and helps establish campaign cadence and deployment as neededManages eMarketing list managementSupports the development and execution of targeted marketing initiatives that promote the organization and its servicesAssists with the intake of work supporting our franchisees and overall department requests.

QUALIFICATIONS : Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong relationshipsStrong organizational skills and excellent follow-throughExcellent project management skills and proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projectsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, effectively collaborating with a variety of stakeholders and departmentsFundamental knowledge of SEOKnowledge of all major social and networking platformsRequires a minimum of two years of relevant experience in communications, marketing, and / or public relationsEffective interpersonal and communication skills with the ability and desire to work in a cooperative, professional, and friendly mannerStrong attention to detail and accuracyThrives on exceeding goals and meeting deadlinesSolid understanding of current trends in digital media / social media and SEOProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)Knowledge of Constant Contact, WordPress, SOCi and Adobe products is a plusBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or a related field
