We are looking for a Campus Dean/Director of Nursing who will:
- Direct academic operations of nursing programs on a single campus to ensure all students receive a quality education in a friendly environment.
- Evaluate program quality and maintain accreditation standards.
- Manage faculty including hiring/selection, orientation, development, supervision, evaluation and discipline.
- Acquire new clinical sites and maintains current clinical sites to meet the demands of the courses and students.
- Provide critical communication to facilitate role performance and program functioning.
- Participate in planning measures to achieve academic success for students, and implement new programs as directed.
- Evaluate and ensure the quality of resources for program functioning and conduct and model professional behavior in interactions with students, staff, and administration.
We require:
The following job requirements represent minimum levels of education, experience and competencies/abilities needed to perform this job successfully:
- A Master’s Degree with a major in Nursing from an approved professional nursing program as the minimum degree
- At least five years of experience in the practice of nursing as a Registered Nurse
- Prior leadership/managerial experience
- A minimum of two years full-time classroom/didactic teaching experience in a professional Associate Degree Nursing / Registered Nursing program
- Active and unencumbered licensure as a registered nurse in the state of Indiana
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification (BCLS) compliant with the American Heart Association.
