What are the responsibilities and job description for the Day Cashier position at Honeoye Falls Market Place?
As a cashier, you are the last person to have contact with the customer. This role is key to ensuring the customer has had an exceptional shopping experience.

Summary of the position:
Provide superior customer service
Accept customer applications for the company Perx Card (loyalty card)
Process all forms of payment
Follows proper bagging techniques
Adheres to all state and county regulations regarding age-restricted products
Process EBT, WIC, coupons and in store discounts appropriately
Maintain a knowledge of weekly sale items
Good knowledge of product locations to accurately respond to customer questions
What we look for in you:
Part time, morning and afternoon availability with at least one weekend day
At least 1 year of friendly and welcoming customer service
Grocery and/or retail experience preferred
Exceptional communication skills
Highly motivated individual
Team player with the ability to work independently at times
Ability to multitask
Focused, efficient with attention to detail
The ability to stand, walk, lift and bend for extended periods of time
