Position Summary:

HCS is seeking an experienced Roofing Estimator in Centreville, VA! The Roofing Estimator will be responsible for Estimating, Pre-Construction, bidding, procurement, and contract negotiations for a variety of large commercial and industrial construction projects. Roofing Estimator #22-00104

Responsibilities:

  • Estimating and quantity take-offs
  • Preparing and managing bid packages
  • Scheduling
  • Cost control
  • Managing RFI
  • Obtains pricing for materials
  • Client relations
  • Procurement
  • Bid analysis and quality control

Requirements:

  • 5 years' commercial or industrial estimating experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction, Civil Engineering, or Architecture preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word
  • Takeoff Experience
  • Ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Federal or government project experience preferred
