What are the responsibilities and job description for the Application Engineer II position at Honeywell?
The primary purpose of this position is to deliver remote support to our premium customers within the HPS Technical support organization, via remote tools and following alert/process monitoring commitments in our A360 contracts. Remote monitoring services are based on Predictive Analysis, Enabled Services, SPA software. Work closely with peer colleagues globally to monitor the base installed and identify/solve proactively technical problems identified in our preventive services.Analyze reactive incidents at site and be able to identify root cause analysis to avoid similar incidents in the future. Visit to customer locations may be required for Premium support services.
Key Responsibilities
•Ability and experience to provide remote support to customers.
• Ability to deliver remote support & services remotely and effectively.
• Ability to execute GTAC and other standard audit checklists.
• Facilitate issue identification and analysis. Report out to regional stakeholders, work closely with the global team.
• Proactively manage and respond to customer questions, issues.
• Maintain strong case documentation and follow up with A360 Performance Managers to ensure that technical recommendations effectively resolve customer issues.
• Support A360 Performance Managers to enable remote solutions at customer sites making sure the PSC value is consistently demonstrated with each deliverable.
• Keep technically current with the broad HPS product/systems portfolio, while maintaining expert knowledge on the TPS-Experion-DCS product line.
YOU MUST HAVE

Engineering degree in electronics, Computer Science, Chemical, instrumentation or process technologies

2-4 years of experience in the system engineering, operations, or services support functions within the Industrial automation industry
