In this role you will be responsible to produce high quality products and services for our customers. You will assemble and inspect product (gas cloud imaging cameras) to ensure the highest quality product is provided to our customers. You will be responsible for your work area to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the area. You will set up and monitor the production of product in your area and participate in the continuous improvement process at the site to address safety, production, and quality improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble products ranging from simple standard sub-assemblies to moderately complex standard systems.
- Responsible for assembly and wiring using manufacturing methods, engineering drawings and workmanship standards.
- Audit material and documentation for compliance to specification requirements.
- Maintain work area for operation and cleanliness
- Comply with all safety rules.
- Cross train team members in assembly operations
- Perform other duties, assignments and special projects as required.
- Resolve assembly problems, troubleshoot malfunctions and defects of final assembly.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities.
- Support the Honeywell Operating System
- Operate assigned equipment.
- Record and report production data.
- Analyze data and production reports
- Supports supervisor with the day-to-day management of their manufacturing area.
- Hit targets for safety observations, and SDQIC kaizens
- Implement cycle time improvement project approved by engineering department
- Provide leadership and line management to the team, assiting to coordinate team's workloads, providing support to ensure that the team delivers, monitoring any issues, and ensuring production targets, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and quality standards are met in order to meet the requirements of the customer
