Job description
As a Lead Engineering Technician II, you will play a significant role among a group of engineers and technicians in the development and certification of various product lines in the Olathe site.
We develop, own and maintain the facilities and test processes that enable the development, certification and long-term support of the entirety of various aerospace product families.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintains and improves facilities in aero product lines on the production floor in a way that ensures the lines are ready to execute tests for the current and future Honeywell product lines.
- Provides constructive feedback on test plans and test approaches
- Models Safety, HOS, Behaviors and Continuous Improvement
- Applies knowledge of complex mechanical products test methods to learn test equipment workings and repair.
- Supports team in establishing solutions to meet requirements for innovative test solutions for new and existing products.
