The job opportunity described below is for a Sr. Electrical Engineering position within the New Product Development team here at Honeywell Safety and Productivity Solutions. Productivity Products, a division of Honeywell SPS is greatly focused on developing hardware solutions primarily in the area of Scanning, Mobility and Printer devices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working cross-functionally and across sites to develop technical expertise to support printing product lines
- Ensuring proper feasibility and retirement of technical risk when executing new hardware design solutions.
- Accelerate ideation and concept generation through identifying, maturing, and implementing new technologies, materials, and rapid prototyping techniques.
- Technical Focal Point of contact for Solution Architect’s, Sales and Functional leadership team.
- Participate in team hardware design, test verification and risk mitigation planning reviews
- Contribute to schedule creation and project resource assessment
