A position has opened up in Honeywell Smart Energy for an ambitious Materials Planning Professional. You will report to the Director of Supply Chain Planning with the opportunity to develop and demonstrate your planning skills and play an instrumental role in the success of the company.

As a Materials Planner, you will perform the Materials Planning across the Site/Network for your assigned business or channel. You will support the Nebraska City site to execute the vision and goals for your Raw Materials Planning function.

You will ensure raw materials replenishment plans align to the network Supply & Production Plans and achieve maximum customer satisfaction and ensure working capital remains within the business goals. You will ensure the network Materials Requirements Plans (MRP) will satisfy the network Constrained Master Production Schedules (MPS). You will work with the master data teams to ensure all BOM and master data in the ERP system is correct and up to date. You will own the plan for every part (PFEP) analysis and will ensure the correct stock entitlement is reflected in the systems and adhered to. You will partner with the Production Planning and Buying leaders to ensure materials are delivered to the sites/network on time whilst achieving the ISC goals of cost control and working capital targets.

You will be closely involved in product lifecycle events and transitions to ensure the network raw materials replenishment strategy delivers on the product portfolio vitality goals. You will partner with the production planning and buying leaders to create and execute your site/network materials replenishment plans. You will attend monthly SIOP Supply Review meetings at the site/network level to approve the site/network material replenishment plans and to present these and the associated risks and mitigating plans to the Business leadership in the Supply & Reconciliation meetings. You will demonstrate how the site/network Production plans satisfy the site/network supply plans.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

•Drives the Implementation of the site PFEP Process 
•Sets Stocking and Replenishment Strategies Push vs Pull to support Maximum Service with Minimum Inventories to meet AOP
•Own and Ensuring material master accuracy
•Cycle Count & Inventory Record Accuracy
•Ensuring materials plan is accurate and current
•Define and maintain Quota arrangements/Multiple sourced items
•Identify MOQ/EOQ/Lot sizes outside of entitlement and working with Strategic Sourcing to resolve
•Work closely with Commodity management to address supply availability for constrained commodities and provide recommended solutions
•Active participant in std transition processes
•Identify and solve problems in and out of the immediate work area independently and ensure materials are ordered and in stock to meet supply requirements
•Participate in continuous improvement projects/kaizens
•Continuously improve material management processes to drive better business results
•Support clients to solve escalations and achieve metrics
•Identify material related issues and work with procurement to resolve material constraints
•Coordinate engineering change activities with procurement and/or Honeywell sites
•Close involvement with Prod Marketing for NPI/EOL/Promotion/Projects/Product Lifecycle 
•Active participant in std transition processes
•Supports Inventory/Materials Planner in maintaining accurate planning parameters / material master data
•Review of the Capacity and Constrained Supply plans in the SIOP cycle
•Owning KPI's for supply - OTFP, Past Due, Site Inventory, MPS Load & Schedule Adherence
