This role provides quality support for Honeywell Smart Energy, while partnering with manufacturing teams.  This position is primarily on the production floor maintaining quality and other duties as assigned.  Responsible for all quality activities and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Various Shifts are available with Overtime. 
Some shifts include nights and weekends, up to 12-hours per shift, 3 or 4-day work week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow procedures
  • Read drawings and specifications
  • Perform visual and dimensional inspection
  • Laboratory and destructive testing of product and raw material.
  • Record results and maintain accurate documentation
  • Investigate cause of nonconformities
  • Perform product and process audits
  • Maintain identification and control of product
  • Take on small projects
  • Software and data such as SAP and Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Excel
  • Create / update instructions
  • Facilitate improvement: Kaizen; 5-WHY and Fishbone cause analysis, Fixturing, Poka-Yoke, Work Center instructions,
  • Gauging, Process adjustment/ Setup, Engineering Change, Standard Work, etc.
