Job Title: Food Runner
Duties:
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to customers' tables in a timely manner
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of food orders before delivering them
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth and efficient food service
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks, such as garnishing dishes or assembling appetizers
- Clear empty plates and glasses from tables to maintain a clean dining area
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any customer inquiries or concerns promptly
Skills:
- Excellent guest relations skills to provide a positive dining experience
- Proficiency in using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers, kitchen staff, and servers
- Hospitality mindset with a friendly and welcoming demeanor
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of basic food service procedures and practices
- Willingness to assist in other areas of the restaurant as needed
- Previous experience in a hotel or guest services role is a plus
