Seasonal Receiving Associate

Dates of Service: 7/1/2022 to 12/31/2022

SUMMARY: Responsible for checking and unloading incoming shipments for the warehouse (Unloading, operating forklifts, stocking materials according to slot location).

• Responsible for following departmental direction and adhering to all product specifications, food safety

(GMP’s) and quality

• Responsible for the receiving and distribution of goods and transferring supplies from receiving dock to its properlocation
• Purchase orders/BL orders are received, verified and paperwork processed accurately in a timely manner; notifies supervisor for any discrepancies with the purchase order
• Responsible for following Allergen food contact procedures
• Process and maintain internal documentation for Quality Assurance and other department- related items
• Assist in company product trace exercises during QA plant audits, and provide proper documentation
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping pallet and racking area neat; organize warehouse and work areas for orderliness at all times
• Ensure lot numbers are recorded at time of receiving
• Properly stores and labels all materials, cookies and finished products
• Maintain and safe guard all areas (interior building structure, surrounding areas including all entrances and gates
• Replenishes, restocks and rotates all raw ingredients, packing material and factory supplies to ensure that allmerchandise will be used before expiration date (FIFO)
• Notify Warehouse/Receiving Manager when product nears the expiration date
• Notify Warehouse/Receiving Manager of any discrepancies with the purchase order/BL
• Properly records and disposes rejected ingredients, materials, trash and chemicals
• Operates vehicles, forklifts, hand truck/ warehouse carts, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment in a professionaland safe manner
• Maintain the condition and cleanliness of vehicle interior and exterior; refuel as needed
• Assists in identifying vehicle maintenance requirements and follow maintenance schedule
• Responsible for the maintenance of the interior and exterior of the warehouse(s)
• Responsible for keeping both warehouse clean and organizes to company standards
• Provide assistance to the bakery and packing department when needed
• Observe and abide by all company’s safety policy including OSHA regulations
• Assist in inventory management, reorder and replenishment
• Preform other duties as assigned, including housekeep of common areas and restroom, packing, moving and setting up of furniture, cabinets, equipment, etc.
• Ability to work overtime and/or flex work hours as required (day or night shifts) including weekends and holidays

REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:

• Represents the company brand image and shares aloha to all customers, business partners, and co-workers at all levels throughout the company
• Possession of driver’s license
• Proficient at driving and parking large vehicles
• Able to understand and follow oral and written work instructions
• Good communications skills
• Able to work cohesively with fellow workers
• Clean Driving abstract/record
• Ability to multi-task
• Forklift experience preferred
• Able to obtain DOT medical card

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Acceptable driving abstract
• Ability to multi-task
• Previous warehouse and receiving experience preferred
• Forklift certification preferred

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Able to sit or stand and walk throughout the scheduled work shift
• Able to lift and/or move up to 60 lbs. on a continuous basis throughout the workdayAbsence: Warehouse Control Supervisor shall perform duties during absence.
