Responsibilities:
The role of the Developer is to assist with Chicago Booth departments that are looking to launch new websites and provide innovative digital solutions under the direction of the Sr. Director of Website Development and Optimization. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Director of Front-End Development and Optimization to understand project objectives and assess the technical and digital requirements. This individual will assist in all aspects of the web development cycle, which includes implementation, documentation, testing, deployment, Sitecore builds and support. The ideal candidate should be curious and proactive in learning new technologies and methodologies; and have a pixel-perfect attention to quality when using thethe ir front-end developmenlls.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in computer science or a related field, required
- 3 years of professional experience in web development
- Modern Browser development fundamentals including HTML/ CSS/ JS
- Responsive design, web standards, and UI/UX best practices
- Ability to convert mock-ups into a functional website
- Ability to optimize front-end code for speed and performance
- Proficiency with Adobe CS
- Knowledge of W3C standards and SEO technical principles
- Good time management skills
- Ability to QA work and others (attention to Detail)
- Excellent Problem-Solving Skills
