As HOPCo continues to grow, we are looking for a Graphic Designer in our Corporate Headquarters. Please see below for the functions and requirements for this position.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Design strong compelling creative driven by innovation and strategy for master brand initiatives, which ultimately cascades to all channels including onsite signage, digital (mobile and desktop), digital display, email communications, and social media.
- Presents designs to stake holders and discusses any needs for modification, improvement and change.
- Designs advertisements, brochures, creative concepts (for events, exhibits, etc.), publications, social media content, e-mails and newsletters, special-event materials, mailers, postcards, invitations, and other marketing collateral.
- Manage and adhere to established deadlines, while ensuring quality standards are met.
- Manage multiple internal and external projects in deadline-driven, fast-paced environment.
- Work productively and harmoniously as a teammate with project coordinators, copywriters, and other team members who share project responsibilities.
- Build constructive and collaborative relationships to align support for business initiatives.
- Provide creative concepts, ideas and optimize strategy for marketing projects.
- Participate in and contribute ideas individually and in-group settings.
- Be able to thrive in a collaborative, corporate environment with professional and positive attitude.
- Maintain the physical and digital design archive.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art, Graphic Design, Interactive Design or equivalent education and experience.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience.
KNOWLEDGE
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Flash, Acrobat Professional, File Transfer Protocol (FPT) applications, Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of color theory and layout and design principles.
- Knowledge of WordPress, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript a major plus.
SKILLS
- Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
- Skill in operating peripheral equipment including printers, CD and DVD burners and duplicators, scanners, digital and 35mm cameras, digital video cameras, audio recording equipment, and digital projectors.
- Skill in creatively translating abstract concepts into effective visual form in a variety of media.
ABILITIES
- Ability in utilizing state of the art production tools to design, edit, and graphic materials; communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
- Ability to set priorities with regard to multiple projects and requests.
- Ability to interact with staff, management, providers, community partners and referring physicians.
- Ability to identify issues and recommend solutions, organize and analyze information.

- Normal office environment.
