About Us:

Hope Academy (formally Little Treasures) has been a part of the local community for many years as a full-time childcare center ministry of Hope Chapel, Olathe, KS. Families choose us for our developmentally appropriate, child-centered approach that values individuality, social interaction, and experiential learning in a Christian environment. In turn, we lovingly care for their children from infants through school age.

What we are looking for:

Individuals who are excited to partner with families in the growth and development of their children. Our teachers must be loving, caring and enthusiastic individuals who are always ready to share a smile and hug with a child. Hope Academy is a ministry as well as a school. We are also looking for someone who is ready to share their faith with the children and families we serve.

Job Duties:

· Daily care and education of the children in their care

· Creative lesson planning and implementation

· Daily communication with families

· Have fun! Smile! Laugh!

· Serving meals and helping children with meeting their daily needs

· Maintaining cleanliness and organization within the classroom

· Keeping portfolio records for each child in your classroom

· Creating an inviting and engaging classroom experience

· Caring for, loving on and sharing Jesus love with children

Qualifications:

· At least one year teaching experience preferred

· Pediatric First Aid and CPR Certified

· Must be at least 18 years of age

· Early Childhood Degree preferred

· Must pass Physical and TB Skin Test

· Must Pass Fingerprint Background Check

· Available M-F, morning thru afternoon hours

· Must love kids!!

· Be able to meet physical demands of the job

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
