Hope Canyon Recovery is a substance abuse treatment center that provides inpatient and outpatient services.
We are looking to fill Clinical Director position as soon as possible. The Clinical Director/Administrator's position is a highly responsible position. Work is performed under the supervision of the Chief Operating Officer. The duties and responsibilities of this position require knowledge of the agency's policy, procedures, contract/memorandum of agreements (MOA) and program activities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Oversees and supervises all clinicians
· Coordination, planning the scheduling of events
· Utilize independent judgment, strong initiative and decision
· The position is required to maintain confidential information in accordance with the HIPPA, Information Security Policy, Protocols, Procedures and CFR-42
· Expected to communicate in a courteous manner at all times
· Generate monthly reports
· Conducts primarily individual sessions
· Responsible for the completion of projects in timely manner
· Conducts the family program sessions
· Conducts individual counseling sessions
· Maintain charts/files/records
· Assist CEO and COO
· Answer and screen phone calls
· Schedule appointments with clients and clinicians
· Performs other related duties as assigned
· Attend community meetings as needed
· Facilitate staff meetings and clinical staff meetings weekly
· Make independent decisions in the processing of routine correspondence, investigate subject matter and prepares the response
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology or Marriage, Family and Child Counseling from an accredited college or university.
Experience
Eight (8) years direct service experience with adults who struggle with addiction and mental health
Four (4) years supervisory experience in a health care setting able to supervise unlicensed professional staff.
License or Certification
California Licensed LMFT, LCSW, PsyD or PhD and a valid California Driver's License.
Qualifications:
· Demonstrated understanding of addiction, psychiatric illness and its treatment.
· Ability to interact and communicate both verbally and in writing with those struggling with addiction, other staff, physicians, agencies, other health care providers and the public
· Demonstrated leadership, organization and management skills.
· Demonstrated ability to visually and audibly assess the mental status, behavior and needs of potential admissions and current clients in the program
· Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of the full continuum of care, insurance regulations, state regulations, TJC Standards.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
