Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate School Teacher to join our team. As a School Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of our students and fostering their love for learning. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young individuals and contribute to their educational development. We adhere to the classical educational philosophy that develops critical thinking skills, traditional Christian values, and the formation of the mind and character rather than mere informational transactions. An acceptable candidate will attend a church that is Traditional Orthodox such as Protestant, Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, or Non-Denominational and hold to the trinitarian doctrines of such a church.
Responsibilities:
- Create and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards
- Utilize effective teaching strategies to engage students and promote active learning
- Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment
- Assess student progress through various methods, such as tests, quizzes, and projects
- Provide constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to enhance the overall educational experience
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student performance and progress
- Incorporate physical education activities into lesson plans to promote physical health and well-being
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (specifically literature, history, languages, humanities)
- Proven experience in classroom management and behavior management techniques
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues
- Knowledge of various subjects, including but not limited to math, science, English, history, and physical education
- Familiarity with education administration processes and procedures
